How can we help?

Our service is person centred and tailored to meet the needs of the individual and their support requirements. Our advisors establish an action plan that focuses on reducing barriers to employment and which offers help with employment skills, education & training needs and life skills.

People already in employment can access our retention services to receive in work support and coping strategies.

Our support includes:

  • Identifying what kind of work would suit you, looking at your experience, abilities and interests
  • Assisting with C.V. writing, and filling in applications
  • Job searching
  • Prepare you for interviews
  • Help with numeracy and literacy and ICT skills
  • Identify and provide support with industry specific qualifications and training
  • Developing strategies to manage and keep your job
  • Providing information about industry specific training and qualifications

Through the above, we aim to find ways to increase self-confidence and expand the social skills needed for the workplace. We can help find work placements and work trials, helping to achieve permanent employment.

We can also help to plan a return to work after a period of sickness, negotiating with employers and advising about employee rights.

Ongoing support and advice can be provided by phone, email and face to face, according to your needs.
