We are proud to announce that we are officially CDP Print Management’s “Charity of The Year” for 2018.

The company is passionate about connecting with the communities in which they work and every year CDP staff vote for a local charity to support that they really believe in.

After meeting with the staff at CDP and telling them about the work we do Imagine was chosen not only for the significant impact our service has on Merseyside but also because a friend and work colleague at CDP, Darren, took his own life earlier this year.

The tragedy touched all the staff of this close-knit company and mental health and its impact became something that they wanted to support.

It also highlighted that there was a need for support with mental health issues for other staff members and CDP have now put in place a confidential employee assistance programme for their staff and their immediate family.

We are so pleased that they have acknowledged that good mental health is a priority and are pro-actively working to support their staff with any issues that may arise.  We’ll be offering our support with mental health awareness and good mental health in the workplace training too.

CDP have a strong record of fundraising for local charities, recently donating £10,000 to 2017 “Charity of The Year” Can Cook Kitchen, a social enterprise tackling food poverty.

We’re really looking forward to working with their friendly and caring staff in 2018; in fact, preparations are already underway for CDP’s very first charity fundraiser for us, taking place in January 2018!
