We have a range of services in Greater Manchester, supporting and enabling people to reach their full potential and increase opportunities in all aspects of their lives.
Our specialist Women’s Service based in Salford works with women suffering from mental distress, helping them rebuild their self-confidence, self-esteem and their lives. It’s a unique service, run by women for women, supporting women on their road to recovery in a safe, caring and encouraging environment. This service is registered under CQC.
In Wigan we have three Social Inclusion services;
- Independent Living, offering support and guidance and helping people improve their life skills, maintain their mental and physical health and access the wider community.
- Peer Support, where people are introduced and warmly welcomed to user-led groups and activities in community settings across Wigan.
- Befriending, where people can either have a Befriender, offering one to one support to help them get out and about, or can become a Befriending Volunteer providing social support to a person they will be matched with.
Wigan also offer an excellent Employment Service providing one to one support to people with mental health issues looking to progress into employment.
Working with Offenders is a Wigan based specialist service for both men and women, offering one to one support, helping them re-build their lives and reduce re-offending.
