Crosby Women’s Service, based in Merseyside, is a specialist gender-specific supported living setting for women with complex needs, who may have a diagnosis of borderline personality disorder and/or who have experienced severe trauma. The service is psychologically and trauma-informed, offering a high level of relational security, allowing women to progress at their own pace towards sustained recovery.

Crosby Women’s Service is passionate about working with each woman to live in the community, improve independence, set and achieve personal goals, feel safe and live the lives that they want to live.
Our Team
Crosby Women’s Service is a service for women, staffed by skilled and experienced staff who are compassionate and understanding; staff are recruited for their values. Intensive training is provided and there is a focus on reflective practice. Staff are supported by enhanced clinical input in place from Mersey Care NHS Trust.
Hours of Operation
Support is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Eligibility Criteria and Referral Route
Women referred may have:
• Complex mental health needs
• An offending profile
• A diagnosis of personality disorder, experience of trauma
• Prevalence of self- harm.
