Mental Health First Aid Training

What is Mental Health First Aid (MHFA)?

MHFA is an internationally recognised training course suitable for the workplace, educational settings and voluntary organisations, which teaches people:

  • how to spot the crucial warning signs and symptoms of mental ill health
  • how to provide help on a first aid basis
  • how to guide someone to appropriate support

What are the other benefits of MHFA training?

Embedding MHFA training within any organisation or community also encourages people to talk more freely about mental health, reducing stigma and creating a more positive culture.

It is especially useful to anyone supporting vulnerable people, or those responsible for wellbeing and welfare in the workplace or youth settings.

Why should I choose Imagine for my MHFA training?

We are a charity with over 40 years’ experience in challenging stigma around mental illness and social exclusion and supporting people to live full lives.
