Salary: £15,604.00 per annum, pro rata
Temporary post: Three months, with potential to extend.

We require a temporary Volunteer Coordinator/Inclusion Worker for 3 months. This is a perfect opportunity to gather management experience by supervising a small number of Volunteers.

The role involves managing mentors who have volunteered to support clients in our Wellbeing Service, which works one to one with individuals to develop and sustain their wellbeing, self-esteem, confidence and independence; and to access community opportunities, volunteering roles, education, and workshops. You will also assist clients directly, who have experienced mental health problems or wellbeing issues with their recovery goals, healthy lifestyles and access to leisure, cultural, vocational and community opportunities; and facilitate workshop delivery.

The post is made up of 15 hours for the Volunteer Coordinator role and 11 hours for the Inclusion Worker role.

This service is funded by the London Borough of Merton through the Strategic Partner Funding 2019 -2022.
