We have opportunities for MALE Specialist Support Workers to work NIGHTS to join our team providing support in Brierfield, Pendle.

We are looking to recruit staff to support a lady living in her own home in Brierfield. This young lady has an autistic spectrum disorder, lives alone and is commissioned for waking night support overnight. In this Specialist Support Worker position, your role will be to meet needs overnight, reinforce good routines by encouraging sleep hygiene practices, adopting a low stimulus approach, manage risk and maintain a safe environment. You will provide personalised support in line with the person-centred plan; assisting this young lady to live safely as a tenant in her own home, and a citizen in her local community. Support is consistent with people’s rights, choices and responsibilities; aligned with assessed needs, legal framework and informed choice of the person.

Support workers will provide support to individuals with a variety of different needs and conditions. This may include learning disabilities, autistic spectrum disorders, mental health conditions, acquired brain injuries, physical disabilities, neurological impairments, psychiatric and clinical needs, complex behaviour and other needs. They may require support with all their daily living requirements and people who are patient, caring and able to support people with complex needs.

Staff will be working in a large, experienced and supportive team. A full, bespoke training package is offered along with excellent terms and conditions.
