Shift pattern: Includes alternate weekends, sleep-ins and on-call as part of a rota. Includes hours on and off rota to support people and complete senior tasks

Salary: £28,344.85 + £30 per day on-call (rota basis)

Based in: Brierfield, Lancashire.

Driver: Essential (Full, clean UK licence)

Imagine Independence is on the lookout for a dedicated and passionate Senior Specialist Support Worker to join our team in East Lancashire.

About the Role:

As a charity supporting individuals with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, neurodiversity, and complex needs, you’ll lead a team that makes a difference each and every day. You’ll work with individuals facing autism, acquired brain injuries, and complex behaviours, supporting them to live independently and engage with their communities in meaningful ways. You'll also be deeply involved in personal care and daily living tasks, ensuring the people you support feel valued and confident as they build their own paths in the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of Specialist Support Workers
  • Develop and review person-centred support, risk, and PBS plans
  • Liaise with families and professionals
  • Attend team and multi-disciplinary meetings
  • Work on a rolling rota including evenings, alternate weekends, and sleep-ins
  • Cover shifts and participate in the on-call rota as needed
